P&B’s Gift Guide For The Guys

Shopping for a Christmas gift for your boyfriend can be a difficult task.

Guys tend to be difficult to shop for and a lot of them will just go out and get something if they really want it, which leaves you scratching your head about what to buy him. Here are 10 ideas he’s sure to love.

  1. High Quality Razor – Just about every man will find the gift of a razor useful. Whether they shave every day, a couple times a month, or just every once in awhile, having a good, sharp razor will help them get that closer shave. Harry’s razors are amazing. You can even set him up with a shave plan, where he will fill out a profile and they’ll send his desired products depending on how often he shaves. Plans start at just $3.
  2. Birchbox Man Subscription – Birchboxes are the gifts that keep on giving. There are subscription gift boxes available just for men in a 3-month subscription for $60 or a 6-month for $110. According to the site, each box will include three to four grooming samples, and an accessory or gadget.
  3. Toiletries – It may sound a little lame to get your boyfriend body wash and lotion, but they actually make great stocking stuffers. Plus, it’s pretty typical a guy won’t buy himself a grooming product unless he feels it’s 100% necessary. He’ll enjoy the product and maybe even see it as a special treat. Typically around the holidays, brands like Old Spice and Axe sell packages that include several of their items. It’s the perfect all in one gift.
  4. Nice Watch – There isn’t a lot of jewelry out there for men or men who will wear jewelry. But any man can appreciate a nice watch. Whether it’s analog or digital, your man will never be late again.
  5. Cologne – Check out your nearest Ulta or Sephora for a scent that will match your man. The employees know a lot about each cologne and will be able to pick out the perfect one. The best part? You get a say in what your boyfriend will smell like. A personal favorite is Lacoste brand. They offer a good product at a decent price.
  6. Shaving Kit – If your man just participated in no shave November, here’s your chance to get him a bit cleaned up—if not completely clean shaven. Kiehl’s sells a lot of great products for both men and women. Why not stock up on some items for him and make your own kit?
  7. Wallet – Men typically go through wallets faster than women as they keep it in their pocket, which can wear it down quite quickly. J Crew has some great wallets made from leather at a good price.
  8. Headphones – Whether they’re over the ear or earbuds, a nice pair of headphones would be greatly appreciated. Many earbuds have the capability of being hands free while over the ear headphones can do wonders for your listening experience. If you’re going to go this route, don’t be afraid to spend some money. You’ll want to make sure you get him a quality set that will last a long time.
  9. Concert Tickets – Concert tickets are a win win. Get them two tickets to their favorite band or artist and you’ll be able to tag along, as well. They’ll forever be thankful that you bought them tickets to see one of their favorites. Plus, it will leave them excited about the show for the weeks to come.
  10. Video Game/Gaming Accessories – Around the holidays there are always new games coming out that your man might want. Just ask what games he’s looking forward to to get a general idea. If you aren’t sure what game to get, there are plenty of gaming accessories, such as wireless controllers and headsets, they are sure to love.
